Dr Sally-Ann Burnett visits Colombia to talk about BPP University Business School

Dr Sally-Ann Burnett, Deputy Dean of the Business School, was in Colombia last week. She was there to raise awareness about the Business School and the University whilst developing collaborative opportunities, predominantly in Bogota, following up from her trip in November and seeking to enhance recruitment for May, September and beyond.

Here Sally-Ann tells us about her week in Colombia:

I met with 4 universities which we have, or are close to having, agreements with.  There is an appetite for dual undergraduate degrees (top ups), progression agreements in to our Masters programmes, term abroad opportunities, possible partner in centre delivery and Summer Schools (especially focussed on English).

I gave my guest lecture on Brexit at two universities to audiences totalling more than 100 students and I met some students heading to BPP in May and September.

I also caught up with four Business School Alumni and heard about their experiences in London and now back in Bogota. As part of their Master’s programmes two of them worked for six months in London for Vodafone and the FT, respectively.
