Mattioli Woods teams up with BPP Professional Apprenticeships to offer school leavers the new Financial Services ‘Trailblazer’ pprenticeship
Apprenticeships are now on offer to school leavers who are keen to kick-start their financial careers with Mattioli Woods plc where they will also receive expert training and a professional qualification from BPP Professional Apprenticeships.
Mattioli Woods, one of the UK’s leading providers of wealth management and employee benefit services, has 12 apprenticeship places available at its Leicester offices.
The vacancies are for the new pioneering Financial Services Administration Apprenticeship Trailblazer programme, with Mattioli Woods being one of the first companies to embrace the scheme. (‘Trailblazers’ refers to new apprenticeships that are created and developed by employer-led groups.)
Educational provider BPP Professional Apprenticeships has been chosen to help find and build future talent from within at Mattioli Woods. BPP Professional Apprenticeships will provide apprentices with support and expert tuition to gain their professional qualification and complete their programme successfully.
James Hammill, Director of BPP Professional Apprenticeships, said: “Mattioli Woods are leading the way when it comes to being one of the first companies to recruit for this new game-changing Trailblazer apprenticeship scheme.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for school leavers to start their financial services career. We are delighted to be Mattioli Woods’ chosen provider and can’t wait to welcome the new cohort this September.”
Ian Mattioli, CEO of Mattioli Woods, added: “This innovative scheme is great and aims to give local young people a real kick-start in the world of financial services. For us, it is a critical stage of a broader Mattioli Woods Academy initiative designed to establish our Group as a learning organisation, which increases access to talented people.”
The Financial Services Administration Apprenticeship Trailblazer programme is designed as an entry level apprenticeship role into the financial or mortgage advice sector and applicable to both large firms and SME advice firms.
The model has been driven by an Employer Steering Group, and then challenged and refined through a development group of training and assessment experts.
