Nicholas Glossop
Nicholas Glossop is the Head of Learning Support and Inclusion at BPP. Having joined BPP in March 2012, his role is to promote, champion, monitor and develop the Equality and Diversity at BPP including the provision of Learning Support for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. Nicholas is a qualified teacher with 12 years’ experience, working with students from diverse backgrounds. The first classes he taught were asylum seekers from Iraq and he says he was immediately struck by the mutual transfer of knowledge and experience which was a rich and rewarding experience. Nicholas has a background in Philosophy and studied at Sheffield University, this included studying consciousness at post graduate level! Nicholas previously held positions managing and developing Learning Support provision and has worked on the merger of two College Learning Support services, which was recently commended by OFSTED. Nicholas also has commercial experience from setting up a training provider in the North East, as Research and Funding Manager; the position involved obtaining several government contracts and delivering skills in the workplace across the UK.
