Prior to working in legal education Andrew was employed as a solicitor in a range of practice areas – most notably litigation.     Carl Lygo

    Carl is CEO of BPP Holdings and Principal of BPP University College of Professional Studies. Carl is a qualified barrister, having practised in London and Yorkshire. He holds a first class undergraduate degree in law as well as a higher research degree and further qualifications in business subjects. He has been appointed by the Secretary of State for Education (as he was then titled) as the special education member of the GCC. He has also been appointed by the Lord Chief Justice as a member of the Judicial Studies Board advisory committee. Carl has been nominated as one of the UK's "Hot 100 lawyers" by The Lawyer magazine. more

    Chris Monaghan is a Lecturer in Law at BPP University College and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is the module leader for the Law of International Trade and Commerce on the LLB and the co-convenor of Fresh Perspectives on the Law. He also teaches Constitutional and Administrative Law and Employment Law. His publications include Dissenting Judgments in the Law (co-edited with N.Geach) and Beginning Contract Law (with N. Monaghan). He is currently writing a textbook on Constitutional and Administrative Law for Pearson Longman. He has recently published articles in the Journal of Business Law, the Company Lawyer and the International Journal of Discrimination and the Law.     Daniel Clark FCA is a Subject Specialist at BPP. He writes material for and teaches a range of papers dealing with management, strategy and risk.     Kevin joined BPP in 2006, taking responsibility for commercial decisions in Financial Services, before moving on to Head of FS Corporate Solutions. In this role he works with clients and business development to ensure BPP’s training approach is optimally aligned with client requirements. Kevin's career started with Shell Chemicals, on their sales & marketing graduate programme. During this period he attained part qualified CIMA status. In 1998, he joined JP Morgan Asset Management, as a performance analyst. He then moved to the front office, joining a team managing the currency exposure on fixed income & equity funds and on stand-alone pure currency hedge funds. In this role Kevin attained the IMC qualification and CFA charterholder status. more

    Nicholas Glossop

    Nicholas Glossop is the Head of Learning Support and Inclusion at BPP. Having joined BPP in March 2012, his role is to promote, champion, monitor and develop the Equality and Diversity at BPP including the provision of Learning Support for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. Nicholas is a qualified teacher with 12 years’ experience, working with students from diverse backgrounds. The first classes he taught were asylum seekers from Iraq and he says he was immediately struck by the mutual transfer of knowledge and experience which was a rich and rewarding experience. Nicholas has a background in Philosophy and studied at Sheffield University, this included studying consciousness at post graduate level! Nicholas previously held positions managing and developing Learning Support provision and has worked on the merger of two College Learning Support services, which was recently commended by OFSTED. Nicholas also has commercial experience from setting up a training provider in the North East, as Research and Funding Manager; the position involved obtaining several government contracts and delivering skills in the workplace across the UK. more

In his research and scholarship, Tom specialises generally in media-related law and particularly in privacy and defamation. He has published several pieces on privacy and media law generally, in domestic and international journals.
