Vicky Knight (Head of Implementation & Development ACCA Programmes) answers questions on her time at BPP University.
How long have you been at BPP University?:
I started at BPP University in 2012 as a Lecturer for the Management Programmes at BPP University Business School, before moving to my current position as Head of Implementation & Development ACCA Programmes.
What is your background and experience before coming to BPP University?
I studied Anthropology at University College, London and then studied for a PhD in Anthropology at UCL. I have recently completed a Post-graduate Certificate in International Development Management and I am also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
I have 20 years of international management experience and have worked on three continents.
How has your experience assisted you with your position at BPP University?
I have worked in a range of complex and high profile roles, all focused on people. I am particularly interested in working within culturally diverse environments.
What do you enjoy most about your role at BPP?
I enjoy working with students to give them the tools they need to succeed in their studies.
If you could give one piece of advice to students what would it be?
Take your studies seriously. The chance to study for a qualification is a wonderful opportunity and it is so important to do well. Gaining a respected qualification will change your life!
